Danny Allen Crump

Danny Allen Crump, 71, of Morganton, NC, joined his heavenly father on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Born in Burke County, NC on May 13, 1953, he was the son of Truette John Crump and the late Myrna Margaret Trumble Crump. Danny was a member of Drexel First Church of God. He was a helpful man who loved his family more than anything. He was a loving son, brother, “Paw,” and friend, and he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and racing. He loved his view of High Peak Mountain from his dining room table, and he enjoyed the beauty of nature.

In addition to his father, Danny is survived by his grandson, Jaxon; sister, Trudy Pitts (Charles); and best friends and caretakers, Betty Pendergrass, Kim Siddon (Jeff) and son, Brandon, and Tommy Summey.

The graveside service will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Drexel First Church of God Cemetery with Mr. Tommy Summey officiating.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the wonderful care from Medi-Home Hospice and the doctors and staff at UNC Health – Blue Ridge.
