Danielle Lynn Grasse Lee

Danielle Lynn Grasse Lee, 55, of Lenoir, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. She was born on July 20, 1971 in Tampa, FL to James Scott Grasse, Sr. of Syracuse, Utah and Kathryn Daniels Grasse Rowland. Danielle enjoyed going to the beach, listening to all types of music, and watching television. She was a very generous and giving person and enjoyed being around people. Danielle never met a stranger and was always willing to help others.

She was preceded in death by a great-aunt and uncle, Maureen and Philip Spangler; grandparents, Pauline and Durwood Daniels.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her life partner, Christopher Crook; sons, Justin Lee (Julie), Joshua Lee of Chaffee, Missouri, and Matthew Lee of Fort Bragg; grandchild, Carter Lee; sister, Sara Rowland Davis; brother, James Scott Grasse, Jr. (Christal); great-aunt and uncle, David and Nancy Ollis; nephews, Tyler and Cody Grasse; and numerous extended family.

A celebration of life will be held at 2pm, Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Rose officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
