Dale Edward Burleson, 69, of Morganton, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Born in Mitchell County, NC on June 18, 1957, he was the son of the late Lawrence Marlin Burleson and Mary Elizabeth Buchanan Burleson.
Dale was a devoted brother who enjoyed flying drones and taking care of the yard. He also enjoyed being outside and taking walks. Dale worked at Broyhill and Impact Furniture for many years.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Lawrence Van Burleson (Janie), Danny Jeffrey Burleson, and David Elmore Burleson; niece, April Burleson; and numerous extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by a nephew, Alex Van Burleson.
Services for Dale will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
