Crystal Loop, 67 of Morganton, NC passed away, Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Born on March 7, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Jackson Earp and Murlena Crews Earp. Crystal was an avid cat lover. She was a simple lady who loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. Crystal had a deep love for the mountains and cherished her quiet mornings with a cup of coffee.
Crystal is survived by her husband of 44 years, Randy Loop; daughter, Heather Loop Baker (Josh); grandchildren, Madden Bramlett, Rylee Baker, Maverick Baker; sisters, Gail Williams, Debbie Isaacs; sister-in-law, Dru Burns; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Crystal was preceded in death by her brother, Rex Earp.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
