Crystal L. Allen of Morganton, NC passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
Born in Springfield, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Mount and Harry Mount.
Crystal was known for her long legs and beautiful smile, and she excelled in her roles as caregiver and mother. Those who knew Crystal take comfort in imagining her now—free, joyful, and dancing the jitterbug in heaven with her beloved sister Janine.
Crystal is survived by her daughters, Melissa Alexander Reschke, Melanie Alexander Kalimnios, and Arlene E. Miller; grandchildren, Nathan Crocker, Danielle Crocker, Cory Phillips, Tristan Alexander, Brittany Miller, and Cody Miller; great-grandchildren, Zoey Miller, Adonis Miller, and Franklin Crocker; siblings, Tammy Turner, Steven Mount, Farah Mount, Dara Mount, and Kara Mount.
In addition to her parents, Crystal was preceded in by a brother, Mike Mount; and a sister, Janine Mount.
No services are scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
The family wishes to thank the staff at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation and the hospice staff at Amorem Hospice for their compassionate care.
