Colin Thornley, 78, of Morganton, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021. He was born in England on July 13, 1943. Colin was an avid soccer fan. He lived all over the world, but his happy place was St. Croix.
Mr. Thornley is survived by his wife and love of his life, Mary Ann Thornley; daughters, Paula Louise Drummond and Joanne Lisa Tiffany (Paul); grandchildren, Samuel Pickering, Thomas Pickering, Molly Tiffany, Finley Drummond, and Will Drummond; step-son, John Taylor (Eve); sister, Pat Dodd; and his beloved, extended St. Croix family, Theresse Rawlins (Marlon), Brianna Bruce, and Nathan Rawlins.
A celebration of Colin’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Carolina Caring.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Carolina Caring at Sherrills Ford.
