Cleveland "June" "Unk" Hall, Jr., 80, of Morganton, NC was welcomed home by his heavenly Father on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Born in Mitchell County, NC on October 31, 1932, he was the son of the late Cleveland Hall, Sr. and Amanda Caraway Hall. June was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and worked construction projects all over the country. Mr. Hall never met a stranger and was one of the most gentle souls God ever created. He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye.
Cleveland is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Hall, and sisters, Mildred Hall Allman and Edna Hall Lane.The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.
