Chuck "Eric" Riddle II

Chuck "Eric" Riddle II, 28 of Morganton, NC went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Born on December 19, 1993, he was the son of Angela Jeri Riddle and the late Chuck Eric Riddle. Eric was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was a loving son, grandson, and brother who loved spending time with his family. Eric loved sports and watching games with his dad. He loved hanging out with his Maw Maw. Eric loved listening to and playing old Rock and Roll music as well as writing songs. He was a very thoughtful and generous person who was always caring for others with a servant’s heart.

Eric is survived by his brother, Trevor Daniel Riddle and wife, Tyler “Kari” Riddle; sister, Suanna Riddle Harrill and husband, Luke Michael Harrill; nephews, Bentley James Riddle, Luke Michael Harrill, Jr., and Hudson Eric Riddle; paternal grandmother, Nancy Sue Riddle; maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. David DeVries and Mr. & Mrs. Gregory Bills; and a number of aunts, uncles and extended family.

In addition to his father, Eric was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Tilmon Riddle.

The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Buckner officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
