Chris Barrier, 66, of Morganton, NC passed away, Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
Born on November 26, 1958, he was the son of Vertie Lucille Barrier and the late Isaac Barrier. Chris was a member of Jonas Ridge Baptist Church. He loved to work on cars and watch football and NASCAR. Chris worked at Drexel Heritage for 41 years.
Chris is survived by his fiancée, Kathleen Seamster; children, C. Michael Barrier (Amanda), Lisa M. Dye (Chris), Leann B. Sisk (Rodney), Charlie B. Barrier, and Eric W. Barrier; grandchildren, Madison Barrier, Callie Barrier, Carsen Sisk, Cody Barrier, Justin Barrier, Kierstan Barrier, Harley Barrier, and Christopher Barrier; and siblings, Tony Barrier and Linda Clark.
In addition to his father, Chris was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Barrier Barlow.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The graveside will follow at Barrier Family Cemetery in Jonas Ridge, NC.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
