Charlotte Jane Giles, 72, of Morganton NC and formerly of Naoma WV, surrounded by her family, was serenaded by angels and gained her wings on April 27th, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her long-time partner and companion, William Hal Mayo.
Those left to cherish her memory included her children: Belinda and Paul Underwood of Hildebran NC and Donald and Andrea Lambert of Prosperity WV; grandchildren: Kaitlyn Underwood, Austin, Royceston and Katherine Lambert, Kendrick Watson, and Jacob and Chase Hatfield; close friend, Lynn Mayo; as well as a host of other family and friends.
No services are planned at this time.
The family would like to thank UNC Health Blue Ridge and Sossoman Funeral Home for all of their love and care throughout this difficult time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
