Carrick Lee Stafford

It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the peaceful passing of c, a beloved father, and cherished friend to many, at the age of 86.

Carrick passed away quietly on May 7, 2026, at Autumn Care of Drexel, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Carrick was a retired furniture worker.

Carrick was born on January 3, 1940, close-knit community of Spruce Spine, North Carolina. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Vester Lee Stafford and Pearl Mae Snyder Stafford. Carrick was also proceeded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Carrick enjoyed watching classic movies, and just having someone come sit an talk to him in his final days.

Carrick is survived by two devoted daughters, Pearl May Jones (Danny) and Cindy Church Jolly (Charles), and one sister and many nieces and nephews.

His memory will be cherished by his five grandchildren, Ashley Craig, Charity Miller, Christy Arnette, Sarah Piper, and Joel Martin, he has nine great-grandchildren, Noah, Aria, Jack, Grayson, Luke, Mackenzie, Callie, Raylan, and two great great grandchildren.

In this time of reflection, Carrick's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Autumn Care of Drexel and Amorem Hospice for their unwavering support and kindness and the joy of life itself.

A memorial service will be held at Mulls Grove Baptist Church, on May 11, 2026 from 3pm until 4pm.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
