Bryte Yount Mosteller, 98, of Valdese, NC passed away Monday, October 24, 2016. Born in Lincoln County, NC on September 20, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Walter Yount and Flossie Ramsey Yount. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Bryte was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and leaves behind many cherished memories.
Mrs. Mosteller is survived by her sons, William Max Mosteller and his wife, Vonda, of Valdese and Jim Mosteller and his wife, Elaine, of Belmont, NC; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Katherine Goodman of Charlotte, NC.
In addition to her parents, Bryte was preceded in death by her husband, Carmie Mosteller; two brothers, Sam and Bob Yount; and two sisters, Estelle Wright and Louise Brown.
The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm, Friday, October 28, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church. The celebration of life will follow at 12pm at the church with the Rev. Amy Freeze officiating.
At other times the family will be at the home of Max Mosteller on Windy Hill Drive in Valdese.
