Bruce Edwin Clark, 72, of Morganton, NC passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care. Born February 2, 1945 in Burke County, he was a son of the late Fern Elizabeth Rudicil Clark.
Mr. Clark was of the Baptist faith. He loved tending the farm and caring for his livestock, especially his horses.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Janice Delee Thomas Clark; daughter, Dove Lynn Clark of Hickory; step-daughter, Penny Justus and fiancé, Tim Smith of Morganton; step-son, Mike Wilde of Michigan; and granddaughter, Rachel Homer of Charlotte. He is also survived by a brother, Randy Clark and wife, Brenda of Morganton; sister, Betty Mull and husband, Jim of Morganton; and a number of nephews and nieces.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Clark was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Powell and brothers, Johnny and Tommy Clark.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
