Brenda K. Cooper, 59, of George Hildebran Dr., Connelly Springs, died Thursday, January 25, 2007. Brenda was born in Burke Co., May 9, 1947 to the late Charles and Sudie Moore Lowdermilk. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Grace Heights. She attended Zion Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lowdermilk and a sister, Janie St. John.
Brenda is survived by her husband Billy Cooper of the home sons; Eddie Hinson and wife Jennifer of Lincolnton, Vance Hinson and Mike Hinson both of Morganton; daughters; Lisa Hinson of Marion, IN, Gail Hinson and Susan Hinson Lewis both of Greenville, SC, a stepson; William Hall of Indianapolis, IN; a stepdaughter; Barbara Garver also of Indianapolis, a brother; Tommy Lowdermilk of Morganton; sisters; Lena Tweed of Valdese, Joyce Ann Pritchard and Kathy Michaux both of Morganton, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2007 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug St. John officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
