Brandy Lowman Pire

Brandy Lowman Pire, 38, of Valdese, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Born in Burke County, NC on June 12, 1987, she was the daughter of the late Harold “Pinkey” Allen Lowman and Ella “Joey” Pruitt McFarland.

Brandy was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family. She expressed herself through sewing and crafting, and she loved to read. Brandy was a cancer fighter and a survivor who was extremely devoted to her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Aaron Michael Pire; son, James Daniel Pire; several adopted children; sister, Alisha McDonald (Jimmy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2026 at Sossoman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children (donate.shrinerschildrens.org).

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
