Bonnie Lawson Peak, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Born on October 20, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Ervin Lawson.
Bonnie grew up in the Baptist Church. She worked at Broyhill Furniture for over 20 years and retired from Fairfield Furniture. Bonnie loved cooking, being a mom, and taking care of her family. She never met a stranger.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Pamela Sue Dishman (Kenneth); and step-grandchild, Kenneth E. Dishman, Jr.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Bueford Peak; brother, Roger Lawson; and sisters, Phyllis Ackers, Fredia Bowan, and Brenda Lawson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Center Grove Baptist Church in Hudson, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
