Birdie Mae Adams Wellman

Birdie Mae Adams Wellman, 63, of Morganton died Monday, May 5, 2014. Mrs. Wellman was born July 13, 1950 in Macon County to the late James Garfield Adams and Mary Ellen Passmore Adams.In addition to her parent she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Lee Ralph Wellman, Jr. and brother, James Garfield Adams, Jr.Mrs. Wellman is survived by her sons, Freddie Wellman and his wife, Brenda, Anthony Richard Wellman, Steven Bradley Wellman and his wife, Biljana and Haston Wellman all of Morganton; six grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Whisnant, Kay Brown, Maxine Adams and Becky Olivo and a number of nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saint, 901 Bethel Rd., Morganton, NC. The graveside service will be a private family service. Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, PO Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680 to assist the family with expenses.
