Billy Carrol Hamrick

Billy Carrol Hamrick, 74, of Morganton passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018.  Born in Burke County, NC on April 23, 1944, he was the son of the late Billy Beacher Hamrick and Pauline Ada Watts Hamrick.  Billy was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church and was attending Praise Assembly of God.  A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Billy worked for a number of years at Southern Devices, Corning in Hickory, and as a self-employed painter.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Kim; a brother, Steve Hamrick (Maria) of Hialeah, FL; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Missionary Ridge Baptist Church with Revs. Kevin Crawford and Donald Lovelace officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
