Beverly Hines Escudero, 70, of Morganton, NC went to her Heavenly Home, Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Born on December 31, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Betty Hines. Beverly worked at Carolina Shoe, she waitressed at several local restaurants. Beverly loved to craft, sew, and color.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Marsha Parise; son, Richard Manus; brother, Lonie Hines; grandson, Jacob Olen Parise.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her first husband, Morris D Manus, second husband, Lorenzo Escudero; brother, Ervin Hines.

Beverly will lie in state from noon until 1:30pm, Monday, January 5, 2026 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2pm, at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Randy Cark officiating. The family will speak to friends following the graveside.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Beverly I love and miss you so much you was one of the best friends I ever had. It hard to believe you are gone you will be missed by many. You was a friend to everyone and spent your time doing for someone all the time. You was an awesome friend, mother, sister.
