Beverly Boecker Heck, 79, of Morganton, NC passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Born in Olive Branch, IL on September 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George Boecker and Irma LeSar Boecker. Mrs. Heck was a former member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau, MO and retired from Southeast Missouri University in 1995. She was very blessed in her life with lots of friends, and she enjoyed gardening and crafts.
Beverly is survived by her son, James R. Bray and wife, Cindy, of Morganton; a daughter, Janey Huckabay of Texas; and a grandson, U.S. Army Captain James Alexander Bray and wife, Amber, of Lawton, OK.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Bray; her second husband, John Huckabay; her third husband, Peter J. Heck; and a sister, Barbara Jennings.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date.
