Bertha Mae Janusz, 92, of Morganton died Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Mrs. Janusz was born July 4, 1923 in Henderson, Minnesota to the late Carl Gall and Hanna Dittman Gall. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Marx; second husband, Jan Janusz and brothers, Frederick and Charles Helgeson.
Mrs Janusz is survived by her son, Robert Marx and his wife, Lucy of Sydney, Australia; grandchildren, Benjamin and Jenny Marx; brother, Ralph Hilger of Piscataway, New Jersey; and five nieces and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Margaret Ashby officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
