Barbara Steiner Mustoe, 80, of Valdese, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Born in Flint, Michigan on April 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Arthur Steiner and Beatrice Vivian Chapman Steiner.
Barbara was a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In recent years, she and her husband were members at Burkemont Baptist Church. The family rejoices that she is with her savior, Jesus Christ.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Joseph Kenneth Mustoe; brothers, Richard Steiner, David Steiner, Al Steiner, Jr. (Linda), Stan Steiner (Erlinda), and Steve Steiner; sister-in-law, Lillian Mustoe Whetzel; brother-in-law, Edward Mustoe (Colleen); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2026 at Burkemont Baptist Church with Dr. Luke Lane officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Burkemont Baptist Church or to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Barbara’s friends at Icard Elementary School, Grace Hospital, and Valdese Weavers.
