Barbara Jo Harbison, 70, of Morganton passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Born in Caldwell County, NC on June 29, 1950, she was the daughter of the late John Bascom Chester and Grace Geneva Snyder Chester.
Mrs. Harbison is survived by her son, Tony Storie and wife, Angie; grandchildren, Kaden Storie and Daniel Oliver; great-grandchildren, Carson Andrews and Liam Oliver; and brother, Johnny Chester.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Alexander Harbison.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care or to Chesterfield Fire and Rescue.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
