Barbara Jean Alexander Stewart, 72, of Morganton, NC, and formerly of Kenmore, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Born August 7, 1942 in Adams County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Robert Thomas Alexander and Madelynn Elizabeth Englemann Alexander. Barbara was a former employee of Ohio Bell Telephone Company. She moved to Florida in the early 70’s and then moved to North Carolina in 1992 to retire.
She is survived by a sister, Virginia Arnette and husband, John of Morganton; and two nieces and two nephews.
