Arthur Leroy Bradshaw, 82, of Morganton died Monday, April 19, 2021 at home while surrounded by family and friends. Born in Burke County, NC on April 6, 1939, he was the son of the late Coy Bradshaw and Ethel Carroll Bradshaw. Roy was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his children, Tracie Jeffries, Steven Bradshaw, Mark Bradshaw, and Andrea Jarrett; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Coy Eugene Bradshaw and Kenneth Nelson Bradshaw; his girlfriend of 40 plus years, Grace Vandiford, and her daughter, Tamika Warlick, who was like a daughter to Roy.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Wayne Bradshaw and Rev. Boyce Bradshaw.
Services for Mr. Bradshaw will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
