Anthony “Tony” Kopler, 65, of Morganton, NC, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023.
Born in Torrington, CT on October 12, 1957, he was the son of the late Joseph P. Kopler and Carmen Martinez Kopler.
Mr. Kopler enjoyed cooking, travel, astronomy, and was an avid New England Patriots fan. Throughout his life, he worked as a butcher at Marandino’s Supermarket and as a computer programmer at Danaher Tool. He loved the beaches at Cape Cod, Rhode Island, and Old Lyme, CT.
Tony is survived by his brothers, Michael J. Kopler (Dianne), and Joseph P. Kopler; sister, Patricia J. Sosnowski (Mark); nephew, Nathan Kopler; nieces, Rileigh Kopler and Julia Sosnowski; long-time companion and friend, Andrea Giumarro; several cousins; and two aunts.
Services for Tony will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
