Albertine “Tina” Picken Littlefield

Albertine “Tina” Picken Littlefield, 88, of Valdese, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 26, 2021.  Born in York County, Maine on December 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late William John Picken and Lula Mae Stone Picken.  Tina was an active member of North Laurel Baptist Church.  She was a loved, and loving mother and grandmother.  She worked for many years at Autumn Care where she was devoted to her residents.  She enjoyed reading the Bible and crocheting baby blankets for church members.  She loved her church and Agape family.

Tina is survived by her sons, Winston Littlefield (Kimberly) and Elroy Littlefield (Peggy); daughters, Cynthia England (Greg) and Debbie Lemr (Rich); daughter-in-law, Helen Littlefield; twelve grandchildren; and number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Stevens; and brother-in-law, Raymond Payeur.

In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ernest Littlefield; son, Charles Littlefield, Jr.; grandsons, Timothy Day and Gary Steele; siblings, Ada Gilpatrick, Olive Picken, Adamies Gammon, Stephen Picken; Henry Picken; Joel Picken; Phyllis Wright, Elwin Picken, and Shirley Payeur.

A celebration of Tina’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2021 at North Laurel Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Wakefield officiating.
