Aaron Matthew Rodriquez, 49, of Morganton, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 23, 2024. Aaron was born on February 17, 1975 in Burke County to David Rodriquez and the late Wanda Clark Feimster. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Aaron worked in construction and was a gifted musician. His greatest passion was playing music and singing, but most of all, he loved his daughters and grandbabies dearly. Aaron had a heart of gold, was generous to all, and never failed to put a smile on your face and fill the room with laughter.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughters, Adrianne Fairchild (Zack Peek), Jessica Rodriquez (Nick Reid) and Olivia Rodriquez; grandchildren, Bonnie Peek and Rose Peek; siblings, Steve Rodriquez (Donna), Cyndi Klucharich (Michael), Andy Rodriquez and Janet Walker (Bill); and loved by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2024 in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I knew Aaron when we were young. We went to church together. We grew up together. I have nothing but good thoughts and memories of him. He will be greatly missed. I’m thinking of his family and dear friends at this time of lose. -Shana

Uncle Aaron was always great to me as a kid and growing up. My fondest memories of him were when he played and sang the guitar with such passion. Anything he played uplifted the world around him. His smile and light hearted joking always put me in good spirits. I will miss him and pray for all the ones he left behind.
