Laura Aline Crutchfield, 94, of Connelly Springs, NC, passed away went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Born in Wake County, NC on January 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Monroe Crutchfield and Maggie Lassiter Crutchfield. Laura was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Icard
Laura is survived by her children, Richard Lee Chambers, Linda E. Wright, Jimmy N. Wright, Jr., and Margie Walker; niece, Brenda Benton; and special friends, Mary and Billy Lovelace
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her brothers, Julian and Freeman Crutchfield; and sisters, Lucy Moore and Ollie Hutchins.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. in the church with Rev. Eric James officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
