David Hunt
June 15, 1962 to Feb. 20, 2021
David Hunt, 58, of Morganton, NC, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. Born on June 15, 1962, he was the son of Tom and Evelyn Hunt. David was a member of North Morganton Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his son.
In addition to his parent, David is survived by his son, Drew Hunt; siblings, Allen Hudson (Beth), Kathy Jordan (Ronnie), Barbara Lentini, Tim Hunt (Donna); and a number of nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Alyssa Hunt; nephew, Jason Hudson.
David will lie in state from 1pm until 3pm, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Sossoman Funeral home. A graveside service will follow at 3:30pm, at Forest Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Christopher Messer officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
