Kenneth Waldon Head, 75, of Morganton, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
Born in Burke County, NC on May 1, 1947, he was the son of Betty Lou Clevenger Head and the late Waldon Edgar Head. Kenneth was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed watching old westerns, racing, and antique cars.
Mr. Head is survived by his beloved family, including son, Kevin Head (Brandy); daughter, Teresa Treadway; grandchildren, Tayler Treadway (Jared James), Chase Treadway (Joshua Pyle), Kaleb Head, and Kynleigh Head; and his mother.
In addition to his father, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma W. Head; brother, Gerald Head; sister, Joann Head; and son-in-law, Tim Treadway.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Tommy Young officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park with military honors provided by the NC National Guard and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
