Theodore Powell, 51, of Connelly Springs, NC died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his residence. Born July 4, 1959 in Burke County, he was a son of the late Commiedore Connelly Powell, Jr., and Bessie Mae Benfield Carver.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Willis George Carver; and siblings, Gary Powell and Reba Dianne Powell.Theodore is survived by brothers, Commiedore Powell of Connelly Springs and Ryan Carver; a sister, Carolyn Ann Powell of Taylorsville; and a sister-in-law, Loretta Powell of Hickory, NC.Services are not planned at this time. Sossoman Funeral Home & Crematory Center is assisting the family.
