Pat (Angela & Drew), my heart aches due to the loss of your dear mother. But my spirit rejoices with you that she is no longer suffering, and she has joined the Lord after fighting the good fight, having kept the faith, and running and finishing the race. I’m so grateful to have enjoyed her spunky spirit, her kind heart, her witted humor, her sweet voice, her beauty, and vibrant personality. I look forward to the day I get to tell her, “Hi Ms. Shirley!! I’m sorry that I didn’t make it to your place on an early Sunday morning to surprise you with a biscuit…Please accept this hug instead.” I pray God’s comfort, peace and strength for you and your family.
