Paris Warlick Clarke, 89, of Morganton, NC passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022.

She was born on May 6, 1933 in Cleveland County to the late Roy Warlick and Fannie Chapman Warlick. She retired from Broughton Hospital. She was a wonderful mother who loved her family dearly. Paris also loved to play the piano at her church and listening to hymns. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and working with flowers. Paris graduated from Bellwood High School and enjoyed basketball and rollerskating during her school years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Clarke; second husband, Robert Brady; son, Don Clarke; brother, Shannon Warlick.

Paris is survived by a daughter, Pam Carroll (Donald); granddaughter, Lorrie Clarke; grandsons, Anthony Carroll (Tabitha) and Joe Carroll (Natalie); great-grandchildren, Charity Bowman (Nathan), Bennett Carroll, Jenna Carroll, Hunter Carroll, Tanner Carroll, Cooper Vines and Maggie Vines; great-great-granddaughters, Amelia Bowman and Alice Bowman; brother, Jerry Warlick (Martha); and sisters, Carol Cantwell and Barbara Trabaugh.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The service will begin at noon in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Johnny Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Baptist Church Cemetery on Hwy 64, Morganton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amorem Hospice.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
