Margaret "Angie" Hamby Dale

Margaret "Angie" Hamby Dale, 42, of Morganton died Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was born in Canton, Ohio on January 20, 1971 and was a daughter of Donnie Jr. Hamby and Ruth Geraldine Watson Hamby of Lenoir. Angie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister who had a giving spirit. She also enjoyed her cats. She was a member of Spirit and Life Assembly Church of Hudson.Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Victor Lewis Dale of the home; daughters, Amber Dawn Minnichbach and husband, Joshua, and Madison Alexandra Dale all of Stafford, VA, and Ashley Victoria Tester and husband, James Tester Jr., of Gamewell; brothers, Donnie Virgil Hamby and Joseph Lee Hamby and sisters, Crystal Dawn Colvard and Marla Beatrice Rich all of Lenoir; and grandchildren, Julianne and Paityn Minnichbach and Kelsie and Morgan Tester.Angie was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mary Charlotte Dale.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Hamby officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
