James Marquis Chisholm, III, 75, of Morganton, NC died on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Born in Connecticut on August 23, 1940, he was the son of the late James Marquis Chisholm, Jr. and Gertrude Bertha LaShay Chisholm. He was of the Baptist faith and loved to farm.
Mr. Chisholm is survived by his wife, Lillie Elizabeth Dale Chisholm of the home, a daughter, Sandra Keller and Kenneth of Drexel; two grandchildren, Scott and Tonya Chisholm of Morganton; and a great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Parsons.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a son, James Marquis Chisholm, IV.
The family will receive friends at the home Sunday afternoon, October 25, 2015. At this time no other service is scheduled.
