George Raymond Tevepaugh, 87, of Morganton, NC passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019.
Born January 14, 1932, he was a son of the late Dock Tevepaugh and Ducie Azzlee Rummage Tevepaugh.
Mr. Tevepaugh was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a backhoe operator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Dale Tevepaugh; son, Keith Tevepaugh; daughters, Rebecca Winecoff and Jill Tevepaugh; four brothers; and one sister.
Mr. Tevepaugh is survived by his son, Scottie Tevepaugh (Melissa); daughter, Regina Monn (Donald); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Franklin Tevepaugh; and longtime caretaker, Lynn Elliott.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
