Ann Woodby

Ann Woodby, 76, of Morganton, NC, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Born in McDowell County, NC on June 24, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charles Willis and Edna Callahan Willis.

Ann dearly loved her family and her pets. She was a good Christian lady who spent many devoted years as owner of Morganton Long Term Care, where she treated her employees like family.

Ann is survived by her husband, Ronald Woodby; daughters, Regina Taylor and Deana Brown; grandson, Justin Taylor; sister-in-law, Glenda June Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Willis, Jr.; and sister, Annette Willis.

The graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2024 at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Douglas Goforth officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
